Empowering Leaders

The Aquila Project has at its core the tasks of Equipping and Encouraging sacrificial servants (Pastors and Church Leaders) in restricted access countries. As Jeff, David, Ed, and our short-term equipping teams have traveled to Cambodia and Myanmar we have had the privilege of building into the lives of over 700 different leaders during the past 3 years – most attending multiple equipping sessions.

But as we travel, we are aware that the opportunity to equip leaders dwarfs our ability to meet the need.

In 2007 our plan is to add a third “E” to the formula – and that is the concept of “Empower”.

We have identified 5 National Leaders who “have what it takes” to be an extension of our ministry.

In 2007 we will pour into their lives and empower them to go to places that have requested training where Western teachers cannot travel.

By adding the third “E” we can double our impact – over 1000 leaders will receive the training they so desperately deserve this year.
