Friday is for Fotos

Ed and Ellie Adams are wonderful Partners in ministry and even better friends to Jeff and I. They are celebrating their retirement by investing in the lives of Pastors and church leaders in Southeast Asia. They are devoted to the Lord, to one another, and to the cause of global missions.

It is always a joy to visit with them in Hesperia, California. They are such gracious hosts, and havemade their home available to us on many occassions.

Ed's passion for sacrificial servants in Southeast Asia is contagious. I read a book a few years ago by Gordon MacDonald titled Ordering Your Private World, and in that book MacDonald asked himself this question as he looked toward the "second half" of his life: What kind of old man do you wan to be?

Ed Adams is anything BUT an old man. His vitality for the task at hand challenges me. His passion is invigorating. But as I grow older both chronologically and in terms of spiritual maturation, I can only hope to be half the man Ed Adams is.

It is wonderful to see how the Lord has put people together "for such a time as this". Ed's expertise in curriculum development is vital for our task. His ability to communicate the vision effectively is a wonderful asset to representing our work on the West Coast.

If you are on the "west coast", I encourage you to contact Ed Adams and get to know him. Ask him to speak at your church. You'll be glad you met him, and you'll catch his enthusiasm for equipping and encouraging Pastors and church leaders in SE Asia. Ed can be contacted at Ed@theaquilaproject.com
