Arrived Safely

Just a quick note to let you know that we arrived safely. FLying/layovers for about 30 hours sure wears you out!! Very uneventful and no problems except the van from the hotel picked us up from the airport here in Phnom Penh and got about 3 blocks away from the hotel (the driver must be new cause he took a wrong turn) and it started smoking. I thought it was on fire, but it just overheated, so we watched a crowd gather and the driver solved it by pouring water on the motor (not sure what that did) and at some point I saw a pair of orange handled scissors involved in the repair process.

We're getting some rest, then we are having a burger and buying some water.

THANKS FOR STANDING WITH US IN PRAYER _ IT"S A PRIVILEGE TO SERVE THE LORD TOGETHER!

Leaving tomorrow...

Well, the time has come and David and I will be leaving for Cambodia tomorrow afternoon. We are very excited about this project as we will be able to teach our new curriculum module, Mission Principles (A Survey Course in Acts). During this trip we will have the opportunity to equip and encourage about 100 pastors and leaders from several different provinces in Cambodia. The first conference will be in Phnom Penh and then we will travel to Svay Reing (on the Vietnamese border) for our first conference in this province.

We have been humbled once again as the Lord has provided our entire budget for this trip through generous friends and partners. This type of work is expensive, but we have seen how God provides the things He calls us to do.

Several have asked us for our itinerary so that they can pray as we travel. Here is is...

July 7 Tulsa to Chicago 2:58pm 4:45pm
Chicago to LAX 6:16pm 8:42 pm
July 8 LAX to Taipei 1:00am 5:10am (July 9)
July 9 Taipei to Phnom Penh 8:50am 11:20am

July 25 Phnom Penh to Taipei 12:30pm 5:00pm
July 25 Taipei to LAX 11:30pm 8:00pm (same day)
July 26 LAX to Dallas 12:20am 5:37am
July 26 Dallas to Tulsa 9:52am 10:58am

In addition please make the following items a matter of prayer during this trip:

1) The Pastors and leaders as they travel to and from the conferences.
2) Health and strength for David and I as we travel and teach.
3) David's family (Shannon, Caleb & Colton); Jeff's family (Jan, Joshua & Jordon).
4) The ongoing support of this ministry as we continue to take training to those who desperately need it.
5) And most importantly, that God will be glorified by all that is said and done on this project.

Thank you for your prayers and continued support of this work, you are making a difference in the lives of thousands of brothers and sisters in Christ!
