Friday is for Foto's

C.T. Studd (1860-1931) was an English missionary who faithfully served His Saviour in China, India, and Africa. His motto was: "If Jesus Christ is God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too great for me to make for Him."
Studd was a famous (and potentionally wealthy) English cricket player who turned his back on fame to follow God's call to the mission field.
About his call to the "heathen" in distant lands, Studd said, " "Some wish to live within the soundof Church or Chapel bell; I want to run a Rescue Shop within a yard of hell."

BREAKTHROUGH - 12/15/06

Friday, December 15, 2006 will be our second annual Day of Prayer. The theme for this day will be "Breakthrough". It is our desire to stand with you in prayer for the needs you and your family would wish to share with us. We will be asking God to give you Breakthrough in those areas.

John Piper in his wonderful book on missions, Let the Nations Be Glad, gives the following metaphor about effective prayer:

"It is a wartime walkie-talkie, not a domestic intercom to increase the comforts of the saints."

As we stand with sacrificial servants in restricted access countries, we know that they are in daily spiritual warfare. Satan does not want the church to succeed in places like Myanmar and Cambodia. For the church to succeed means the Kingdom will increase.

Stand with us on December 15th in the following two ways:

1. Set aside a few moments to pray for the sacrificial servants you have heard us talk about. Pray for Breakthrough in their lives and ministries. Pray for the work of The Aquila Project as we look forward to some incredible opportunities in 2007. We will make this easier by providing some "real time" prayer needs as December 15th draws closer.

2. Allow us the privilege of praying for Breakthrough for your life, your family, your business, your finances, your health... whatever area you need God's touch in.

Email your requests to: prayer@theaquilaproject.com Your requests will be held in strictest confidence.

Thanks for taking this journey with us!
