Taxi ride to Mandalay

Headed to Mandalay -- Our last two institutes were in Mandalay - which was a one hour plane ride and then an hour taxi ride. (note to self - if you build an airport near the second largest population center in a country, you might want to build it closer than an hour taxi ride) Anyway, Thomas, our Aquila partner and tranlator is in the back seat with Ed Adams. Thomas is an amazing young man, multi-lingual, and has an incredible heart for God. We are privileged to work with young men and women such as he. He is a student of theology and shares our passion to provide training for rural pastors and leaders. It was a joy to serve together with him.
