Friday is for Fotos

In Oklahoma winter is usually cold with some ice, a little snow coupled with chaos on the roads. But "winter" usually waits until Jan - Feb and sometimes even March. Today (the last day of November) we began with some ice and are winding up this Thursday with snow - LOTS OF SNOW. Some portions of our state will receive over 16 inches of snow! It is actually quite beautiful - inconvenient, but beautiful. Our bustling activity comes to a screeching halt during these "blizzard" conditions. That allows us to reflect, read, and perhaps enjoy the interruption with some focused time of prayer. Hopefully if you are in Oklahoma you are safe and the electricity hasn't been interrupted by the ice. If you are affected by this storm - take a moment to enjoy the slowdown.
Thanks for taking this journey with us!

PS: Don't forget our "official" Day of Prayer (BREAKTHROUGH 2006) is on 12/15/2006 - email requests to prayer@theaquilaproject.com
