Lessons from Cambodia

David and I have been home for a couple of weeks now and things are returning to normal for the time being. We have begun working toward the next project in Cambodia which will take place this coming October when we will once again be working with Nivath Nimh and the Cambodian Baptist Union. Our partnership with the CBU has been very rewarding over the past couple of years and we are looking forward to all that the Lord has in store for us in Cambodia. In addition we are beginning to make plans for a February 2006 trip to Myanmar and possibly Northern Thailand.

We were reminded on this last project in Cambodia that our Lord is sovereign and His plans will be accomplished in this world. We feel very fortunate to play a small role in the expansion of the Kingdom in Southeast Asia.

We are so thankful for your support and prayers for this ministry, through your partnership with us we are making a difference in our world. Please continue to pray for the Church in Cambodia, they are a small but growing body of believers in a very difficult land. As I mentioned in a previous post, the number one prayer request we received was for rain. Most of the Christians in Cambodia are farmers who are dependant on the rice harvest to feed their families. Please continue to join us as we pray for God to open the windows of heaven and send rain on the fields.

As always, if you would be interested in having someone from The Aquila Project speak to your church or bible study group let us know and we would be glad to do it. You can contact us through this website or email me at jeff@theaquilaproject.com.

That all may hear!
