Thanks Mom

Jeff and I would like to take a moment today in celebration of Mother’s Day this weekend and say a public “thank you” to our mothers. Both of us recognize, celebrate and are grateful for our moms.

Neither my mom, Carole, nor Jeff’s mom, Betty, were attempting to manufacture a missionary. (If you know us very well you may think that there may have been some “weird science” in our respective households.) Betty and Carole simply created home environments that nurtured a love of God and there they demonstrated their confidence in Him. They made an intentional spiritual investment in our lives.

We are grateful for the outcome of that investment. Thanks mom(s) for your patience, authenticity, mercy, and faith.
