Remembering John Cuai Sang

One of our great partners in ministry passed away this weekend. He is in the presence of our Savior, and undoubtedly has heard the commendation, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

John Cuai Sang was in his late 50's and has been struggling with some health issues over the past years. Life is hard in Myanmar, and health care options are limited.

John was a visionary. He believed in equipping and encouraging the next generation of leaders. That vision led him to found a school for church planters, and that school has graduated over 100 young men and women who are zealously planting churches in Myanmar.

John beleived in what The Aquila Project was doing. He has assisted us and been a genuine friend to this ministry. His warm smile, and easy-going demeanor will truly be missed.

Please pray for John's family as they grieve the loss of their husband, and father. Pray for the work that John began in Myanamr to continue to the Glory of God.

It is at times like this that we realize that our comfort is found in the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Strength for this day and hope for tomorrow is genuinely realized when we read the words of Peter:
"For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept inheaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And God in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him. it will be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while." (1 Peter 1:4-6 NLT)

Thanks for taking this journey with us!
