Myanmar Update

It is Sunday morning (Feb 19) here in Yangon, Myanmar and the work continues.  David Robbins arrived safely last night and after a good nights rest is teaching this morning.  Our first class was completed on Friday, we had 32 graduates from the Po-Karen Baptist Association.  Yesterday we started the second class with the Sgaw Karen and that class will last until Tuesday afternoon.  This morning we will begin with a worship service together with the students, Jimmy will be singing and Ed will be preaching.  After the service we will take a short break and then pick back up with the classes in 1 Timothy.

February is a wonderful time to be in Myanmar as the weather is not yet hot, although the highs have been in the mid 90's.  You know this is a hot country when mid 90's is considered the "cool" season.  We are enjoying a wonderful time here at the Golden Guest Inn (my favorite hotel in the world!), the family here takes such good care of us we can hardly complain.

This will be a very busy week here with class each day and in the evenings David and I will be working on the curriculum for Romans which we will utilize this summer in Cambodia.  We covet your prayers and thank you for you continued support of this work.  You are a blessing to us!!
