Provision & Our Confidence in God

Our equipping teams are about a week away from departure! What an
incredible thing it is to be a part of God's plan for reaching the
Nations with the Gospel message. It is with gratitude that I write.

This project to equip and encourage grassroots pastors and leaders in
Myanmar is the most ambitious project we have undertaken. With an
ambitious project comes an ambitious budget, and God has been faithful
to provide through the sacrificial giving of His people. We are grateful
and humbled by your generosity and belief in this work.

Many have emailed and called and asked about our budget status, so let
me give you a current update. As of today, Thursday, February 2nd, we
have gifts in hand and confirmed pledges of $20,852.77 for which we are
incredibly grateful. Our remainder to be at full budget is $1060.17.
Those who have called have asked, "If you do not receive full budget,
does this mean there will be some who will not be able to attend the
institutes?" - and the answer at this point is a resounding NO! All who
are scheduled to attend will attend.

We believe God is in the STRETCHING business. If additional funds are
not received, we believe God will take our funds available and multiply
them. Just as he multiplied the widow's flour and oil in order to
provide food for Elijah (see story in 1 Kings 17: 10-16), we believe
with confidence that God will grant us favor with hotel owners, food
vendors, and even perhaps through a more favorable exchange rate in
order to make His resources meet all of the needs during this project!

Continue to pray that all gifts/pledges will be received, but join with
us in believing that God is still in the STRETCHING business!
