Monday (almost) Misson Moment

James O. Frasier was a missionary serving in the late 1800's/early 1900's in China among the Lisu people. The Lisu people still live throughout SW China, Myanmar, and Thailand. Frasier served with the China Inland Mission.

These people that Frasier served and that this quote is about, are from the same people group that will be attending our training in late February 2006. Some of these precious servants of the Lord will WALK for 10 days (one-way) in order to attend the institute because of governmental travel restrictions. Our institute will be held in Mandalay (that is as far as Westerners can travel in Myanmar). They are simply amazing people.

"Rome was not built in a day, nor will the work of building up a strong, well-instructed body of Lisu Christians in the Tengyueh district be the work of a day either...God has brought me to the point of being willing to be in His time as well as in His way. I am even willing...not to see the fullness of blessing in my life-time." James O. Fraser (1886-1938)

PRAYER FOCUS:
Pray for the Lisu people as they work to lead their people to Christ.
Pray for them as they begin to prepare to attend the Aquila Institute in February.
Pray for us as we study and prepare to teach.
