A Week Before Departure...

and all is going well.  We are using this week to check, recheck, an triple check all of the details of the trip as well as making final arrangements with our families for the mountain of information that they need to be aware of while we are gone.

 

If you remember our last trip to Myanmar, our ability to send/receive email was severely curtailed.  Government restrictions make it tedious to say the least.  We are working on several "options" to hopefully circumvent the "system" - but please remember we are always trying to send information to our partners, so if there is no information coming it is because what we are sending isn't making it out of country.

 

So be prepared to hear little to nothing - and be pleasantly surprised if we are able to get regular reports out.

 

Continue to pray for us and for those leaders who are scheduled to attend.  We received good news this morning about our visa application. It is scheduled to be picked up from the Myanmar consulate in Washington DC on Wednesday. The document service will then overnight mail it to us and we should be all set.
