New Opportunities

I had a great lunch this week with Philip Singko, the General Secretary of the Thailand Lahu Baptist Convention. Philip and his wife are in the states for 6 months and as he was passing through Tulsa we had the pleasure of sharing a meal together. The Lahu are a people group living in Northern Thailand, Southern China and Northern Myanmar. Philip has asked the Aquila Project to come and provide training for their pastors and we are very excited about this new opportunity. We are now in the process of getting materials translated and dates set for one of our teams to travel to ChaingMai, Thailand for the training. This could happen as soon as October of this year, but may move to June 2006. Please be in prayer as this new partnership develops in the coming days.
