Ahh...Summer in Cambodia
There really is no better way to spend the month of July than to be in Cambodia helping to equip and encourage rural pastors. That is exactly what we will be doing this summer as we conduct 4 Aquila Institutes in the Kingdom of Cambodia. We have been invited by the CBU (Cambodian Baptist Union) to provide training and encouragement in 4 seperate provinces. We will be conducting our fourth Insititute in Phnom Penh, and our second Insititue in both Battambang and Svay Reing, while making our first visit to Kampong Thom. We are very excited about these opportunities as they represent a deepening relationship between The Aquila Project and the churches of Cambodia.
As always we are dependant on God working through our partners and friends to provide the resources necessary for these projects. We have seen our Lord do some amazing things during the life of this ministry and we are looking forward to celebrating again the abundant provision of our King. If you would like to be a part of this summers project here are a few ways you can be involved:
1) Pray. We are always in need of your prayers both for the team that will be travelling to Cambodia as well as for the pastors and leaders who will be attending the conferences. If you would like to partner with us in prayer for this project please contact me at (jeff@theaquilaproject.com)
2) Tell the story. If you would be interested in having either David or me come and tell the story of Aquila to your church, bible study, sunday school class, or business please let us know. We love to tell the story of all that God is doing among the churches of Southeast Asia.
3) Give. Needless to say, it is expensive to carry out this type of ministry. The Aquila Project receives no funding from any outside sources other than our friends and family. This project will involve almost 200 pastors and leaders, and you can provide the travel, lodging and materials for one pastor for only $70.06. I cannot begin to tell you what a blessing these training opportunities are for rural pastors who have almost no access to formal training. Would you prayerfully consider sponsoring one (or more) pastors this summer in Cambodia? All gifts are tax deductible and can be mailed to the following address:

We will be posting more information regarding this trip in the coming days as well as daily (hopefully) updates during our trip. Please check back on a regular basis.
What a blessing you are to this work and to the Kingdom!
